Help!

Help! All I should really and can really say publicly, dear friends, is pray for me. I really need to be blanketed in prayers and so does my family. I can’t do anything, but God can. My heart is broken and I’m weary. You can message me privately if you need details. I cannot post them publicly at this time.

    Hi Aunt Judy,

I’m okay. Have talked to you about the “situation” a little already and the craziness of what my family has had to deal with this year. The Lord is faithful and He has helped me get through this year and become stronger. So has all the prayers of my dear friends and family. I can see how the Lord has moved and worked things out already and I have faith that He will continue to do so. Do not worry about us, folks. Scott, the girls and I are fine. It has been an emotionally wrenching year because of some outside factors mostly aimed at Caitlin and myself, but the Lord is restoring us and blessing us more than ever. I suspect it is just one of those growth phases He makes us go through sometimes so we can come out stronger than before.

The two verses that have gotten me through this year:

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you.

    and…

For our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the dark forces of this world (I shorted that just a bit).

Whether you believe like I do or not, I am telling you folks that Satan is alive and well. He really doesn’t like our work with youth and he would like nothing more than to discourage us enough to stop trying to reach kids for Christ. Please pray for us when you think of us. We need to be blanketed with your prayers and God’s protection. Please pray for those who hate us as well. They probably need your prayers even more. I’m not going to name names, as they may read this blog, but God knows who they are and God loves them just as much as he loves me (yes I’m using a plural “them” to describe a singular and know it is bad grammar, but necessary for anonymity) .

We love you all. We are looking forward to 2010!

    Lori
